I have been interested in foreign languages for a long time. This is the reason I’ve decided to become a translator and proofreader. I like traveling and discovering new cultures and lifestyles. I stay up to date with the latest french and international news. I am always improving my language skills making linguistic trips to English and Spanish-speaking countries.

My university background enabled me to gain expertise in legal, business and financial translation and proofreading.

In 2016, I did a six month internship at GLevents, a company based in Lyon (France) specializing in selling events.
I had the opportunity to gain new skills and expertise in the marketing and sales areas for translation.

In 2018, I did another six month internship in Randocheval, a travel agency based in France, selling classic and horse riding tours in France and all over the world.
With this company I had the opportunity to translate and proofread (from English to French and vice versa) riding tour itineraries and travel guides for customers, as well as the travel agency’s website. I also built an equestrian and tourism glossary of terms in five languages: French, English, Spanish, German and Portuguese. Additionally it was a chance to gain other skills in tourism and website translation.

BUSINESS TRANSLATION
To perform the best-quality translation for business, it’s mandatory to perfectly understand the inner workings of an organization and its economic reality.
The business translator who works autonomously, without submitting their translation to a proofreader, not only has to have a strong expertise in translation, but also an in-depth understanding of the main forms of organizations and their practices and of the business world, and often of the economy in general.

Indeed, the meaning of texts has a real impact in a very responsive and always on the lookout market. The specialist translator must understand the technical content, concepts, and overall context of the document to be translated while faithfully respecting the client’s expectations.

LEGAL TRANSLATION
As in “law” there is no synonyms, legal translation is an area of expertise having the advantage of not suffering approximations.
I translate material falling under different branches of law, such as civil law (construction, real estate, inheritance, family law…), commercial law, corporate law, banking law/ financial disputes, insurance law, labor law etc.
Thanks to my training in legal translation and my acquired skills in mastering the terminology in this specific field, I can translate any such material.

GASTRONOMIC TRANSLATION
In a country visited for its gastronomy, among other things, it is essential for restaurant owners to make their communication understandable for tourists.
I offer translations for restaurant, menus as well as recipes.
